Vote Description
This bill allows the Appraisal Certification and Licensure Board to make the reception of a license contingent on one’s attendance of implicit bias training. CPAC opposes implicit bias trainings, believes that it is absurd that hopeful real estate appraisers now have to endure Leftist propaganda prior to receiving their license, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 8, 2023 by a vote of 40-20 and the bill later became law.
