Vote Description
This bill allows the Appraisal Certification and Licensure Board to make the reception of a license contingent on one’s attendance of implicit bias trainings. CPAC opposes implicit bias trainings, believes that it is absurd that hopeful real estate appraisers now have to endure Leftist propaganda prior to receiving their license, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 20, 2023 by a vote of 24-6 and the bill later became law.
