Vote Description
This bill directs the State Treasurer to divest state funds from companies that deal in thermal coal. CPAC opposes the integration of Leftist climate radicalism into state decision-making and investment processes and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 5, 2024 by a vote of 16-13 and the bill later became law.
