This bill prohibits the removal of books from schools if the government thinks that such would constitute a form of discrimination. CPAC believes that students should not be given access to explicit or obscene materials in public school libraries and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 27, 2024 by a vote of 17-12 but the bill never became law.
