This bill requires that employees engaging in “underground infrastructure” work be paid no less than the prevailing wage. CPAC opposes artificial wage mandates and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on October 18, 2023 by a vote of 131-72 but the bill did not progress in the Senate.
