This bill sets up the Fresh Food Financing Initiative, the likes of which will provide grants to government-favored minorities that vend certain agricultural commodities. CPAC opposes racist grant programs and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 21, 2023 by a vote of 141-62 but the bill did not advance in the Senate.
