HB 950
Annihilating Right-to-Work Laws with New Constitutional Amendments.
2023 - Pennsylvania House of Representatives
Vote Description

This bill proposes an amendment to Pennsylvania’s Constitution that would allot workers the right to collectively bargain. In doing so, it would also destroy right-to-work provisions by disallowing the passage of laws that prohibit workers from being required to join unions as a condition of their employment. CPAC supports right-to-work laws and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 3, 2023 by a vote of 102-99 but the bill did not advance in the Senate.
