Vote Description
This bill allows domestic service workers to be considered employees for the purpose of Rhode Island’s minimum wage laws. CPAC opposes artificial wage mandates and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 13, 2024 by a vote of 62-7 and the bill later became law.
