Vote Description

This bill provides the framework for providing grants to “co-locate” energy storage systems with certain energy resources and build other types of energy infrastructure. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should refrain from interfering in this way in the energy industry, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 13, 2024 by a vote of 55-7 and the bill later became law.
