Vote Description
This bill prohibits physicians from performing an abortion on unborn babies that have a heartbeat. It additionally imposes steep penalties on physicians who break this law. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, supports restrictions on the practice, and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on May 17, 2023 by a vote of 82-32 and the bill later became law.
