Vote Description
This bill requires online platforms that distribute obscene material to perform reasonable age verification checks on a potential user before giving them access to their services. CPAC supports efforts to shield minors from harmful online content and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 8, 2024 by a vote of 43-0 and the bill was signed into law.
