The Harriet Hageman amendment to H. R. 4394 prohibits the funding of the Supertruck III program at the Department of Energy. The Supertruck III initiative provides up to $100,000,000 in funding to develop a medium- and heavy-duty truck and freight system characterized by a high degree of efficiency and low emissions. CPAC opposes the endless funding of the Left’s radical climate agenda and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on October 26, 2023 by a vote of 176-241.
