This bill by Michelle Fischbach (CPAC Score 84%) prevents the Administration for Children and Families from implementing part of a new rule that would deny the use of welfare funds for pregnancy centers under the primary welfare program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). CPAC supports the use of funds for pregnancy centers and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on January 18, 2024 by a vote of 214-208 but it was not taken up in the Senate.
