The Garrett Graves (CPAC Score 82%) amendment to the Federal Water Pollution Control Ace bill would add some restraint on spending by limiting authorization if a federal project exceeds its predicted cost.  CPAC supports this common sense effort to reign in spending and supported this amendment.  The House defeated the amendment on March 21, 2024 by a vote of 99-323.
