Vote Description
The Roger Marshall amendment to H. R. 3746 inserts various provisions into the bill that enhance border security. For example, it requires the immediate resumption of construction on the border wall and expands the ways in which officials are allowed to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country. CPAC supports efforts to enforce federal immigration laws and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on June 1, 2023 by a vote of 46-51.
