This bill prevents firearms merchants from providing firearms codes to financial entities. It also prohibits financial institutions from classifying firearms merchants as different from general merchandise retailers. CPAC supports efforts to uphold Second Amendment freedoms and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 13, 2024 by a vote of 68-4 and the bill later became law.
