This bill requires that parents be notified if their child is experiencing gender dysphoria. It also requires that the school work with the parent in order to develop a plan for the child. CPAC supports efforts to increase parental involvement in schools and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 7, 2023 by a vote of 50-48 but the bill stalled in the Senate.
