This bill allows qualifying individuals “aggrieved” by a decision handed down from the Department of Environmental Quality to seek a judicial review of the decision. CPAC opposes measures that insert further bureaucratic red tape into government permitting processes and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 5, 2024, by a vote of 75-25, and the bill later became law.
