This bill extends the sunset date from 2023 to 2028 on provisions setting up the Dairy Producer Margin Coverage Premium Assistance Fund. CPAC opposes government favoritism toward particular industries and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 21, 2023 by a vote of 40-0 and the bill later became law.
