HB 2118
Waging War on Washington's Firearms Merchants.
2024 - Washington House of Representatives
Vote Description

This bill imposes additional requirements on firearms merchants in order for them to operate. For example, it requires them to install additional security measures, submit further certifications to licensing authorities, and take numerous onerous, unnecessary precautions. CPAC recognizes that these onerous measures merely serve as a means of trampling on the people's Second Amendment freedoms and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 5, 2024 by a vote of 56-39 and the bill later became law.
