This bill enacts several provisions aimed at promoting the growth of the alternative jet fuel industry in Washington. For example, it directs the statewide office of renewable fuels to begin furthering the development and use of alternative fuels throughout the state. CPAC supports all forms of energy, does not believe that the government should support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 19, 2023 by a vote of 48-1 and the bill later became law.
