This bill states that common interest communities may not pass provisions preventing a certain number of people from occupying a particular dwelling. CPAC opposes measures that foist onerous and damaging mandates onto property owners and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 22, 2024 by a vote of 30-19 and the bill later became law.
