This bill prohibits the state government and municipalities from preventing the sale of vehicles because of the type of energy that they consume. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not favor one form of energy over another, and supported this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on April 18, 2023 by a vote of 63-35 but Governor Evers vetoed the bill.
