This bill requires that public school sports teams be designated for males, females, or both (coed). It then prohibits males from playing on the teams designated for females. CPAC supports efforts to create a safe and fair environment of play in school sports and supported this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on October 12, 2023 by a vote of 63-35 but the bill had not become law as of the end of 2023.
