This bill creates a Healthy Food Incentive Program, the likes of which will use financial incentives to get individuals on food stamps to consume healthy foods. CPAC opposes government involvement in people’s diets in this way and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on February 20, 2024 by a vote of 96-2 and the bill later became law.
