This bill prohibits financial institutions from disclosing a customer’s protected financial information to government entities. CPAC opposes efforts to inappropriately surveil and discriminate against gun owners and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 10, 2023 by a vote of 98-0 and the bill later became law.
