Vote Description
This bill strikes a requirement that forced individuals ages 14 and 15 to obtain work permits before becoming employed. CPAC supports efforts to ease the process of allowing youth to obtain appropriate employment and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 20, 2024 by a vote of 83-16 but the bill never became law.
