Code of Conduct
All event participants admitted with media credentials are expected to behave in accordance with professional standards and applicable laws. Be considerate, respectful, and mindful of your surroundings and participants of both CPAC 2023 and other events taking place at Gaylord National Hotel and Conference Center. Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech, distribution of inappropriate materials, or criminal conduct by any participants of CPAC 2023 and related event activities, or any other behavior intended to harass others or distract from the Conference. No signage is permitted on the premises without prior authorization. CPAC reserves the right to confiscate any materials and/or remove persons found in violation of this policy at their discretion. Only credentialed members of the media are authorized to utilize still imagery, video or audio recordings captured at the Conference for commercial purposes. Credentialed members of the media acknowledge CPAC’s intellectual property rights to all still imagery and audio or video recordings taken at the Conference. As a condition of receiving media credentials, those so credentialed who capture still imagery or audio or video recordings at the Conference grant CPAC a world-wide, perpetual license to use such imagery, audio recordings and underlying intellectual property in every jurisdiction free of charge. CPAC retains all fair use rights in their intellectual property for any filming done for commercial purposes during the course of the event. Many event venues are shared with members of the public; please be respectful to all patrons of these locations. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the Conference. No refunds will be given for those who are ejected for violating any aspect of the Code of Conduct.
