Getting Offenders on the Right Track

Many states have passed reforms to do a better job preparing inmates for their release. Led by the ALEC, a group conservative state lawmakers, 21 states now require their prisons to provide inmates a state issued ID, plus their vocational training record, work record, social security card, and resume.
