  • Black Lives Matter, Inc. Spending Investigation

Black Lives Matter, Inc. Spending Investigation Black Lives Matter, Inc. Spending Investigation Members of Congress, During the summer of 2020, far-Left agitators and activist groups mobilized throughout the streets of America’s biggest cities causing a record-setting $2 billion in damages. Major corporations, scared of becoming the next target of militant cancel culture, paid ransom to the tune of $99 billion to the “Black Lives Matter (BLM)” movement and related causes. Unfortunately, there has been a major failure on behalf of the media to investigate and hold the shadow-network of Leftist extremist groups to account for how the money was spent. Now, following the terrorist attack from Hamas, where hundreds of civilians were brutally murdered in Israel, BLM-affiliated groups have triumphantly shared out their support of the terrorist actions. Their support remains even as up to 150 hostages, including American citizens, are being held captive. This came as a surprise to many in the media, but it did not to those who have been calling out these domestic terror groups for what they were from the beginning. The antisemitism and hatred of the Zionist state was always apparent from BLM and the Left. As BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors said at Harvard Law School in 2015, “if we don’t step up boldly and courageously to end the imperialist project called Israel, we’re doomed." CPAC (Conservative Political Action Coalition), the nation’s original conservative grassroots organization, has always been a proud supporter of Israel. CPAC has brought together prominent conservatives from both countries at events both domestically and internationally, including bringing CPAC to Israel. In this vein, we outright reject the BLM movement’s antisemitism and call for the immediate investigation of their financial records to determine if they have, in any way, funded the terrorist actions against Israel. We call on Members of Congress to begin holding hearings to investigate if any of the $99 billion has been used to fund or promote terrorism domestically and across the globe. We also call for State Attorney Generals to immediately begin reviewing BLM-affiliated groups operating in their state’s and their ties to terrorism. Sincerely, Matt Schlapp CPAC Chairman NEWS & RELEASES . • CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp supports Congressman Kevin McCarthy’s agenda

CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp supports Congressman Kevin McCarthy’s agenda CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp supports Congressman Kevin McCarthy’s agenda Alexandria, VA — CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp released the following statement on Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy’s agenda for a new Republican majority: “I applaud Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans for releasing an outline of their agenda when they are given a new majority. Like Sen. Rick Scott has done, House Republicans are making it clear that a new Republican majority has a duty to accomplish what we promise to do. “After the November elections, Congressional Republicans will immediately have to decide if they fight on the one major issue: funding the government. In the past, Republican leaders have chosen to take a pass on budget brinkmanship. However, due to the catastrophic nature of Biden’s policies on our economy, our border, and our children — the Republican Party and its leaders can no longer delay a budget confrontation. Rubber stamping a bad budget jeopardizes the stability of the country and the future of the party. The GOP will not be able to withstand a grassroots revolt it they take another pass. “It’s important for incoming Republican leaders to develop a strategy to declare a line in the sand on funding the government in concert with grassroots conservatives. The GOP should only support appropriations that secure our border, expand fossil fuel production, and reform the FBI and IRS. It’s time for the socialists to understand that we don’t wish to transform America, we wish to defend her. That defense starts with a declaration that we will fight.” ### NEWS & RELEASES .
