- Matt Schlapp Statement on Trump Verdict
Matt Schlapp Statement on Trump Verdict Matt Schlapp Statement on Trump Verdict Today is a tragic day in American history. From the outset, the mission of the radical Left been clear: prevent President Donald J. Trump from running for President by any means necessary. After failed impeachment attempts, the Left has finally succeeded, but in a different way than they intended. Instead of diminishing the leading candidate for President, they have instead undermined the rule of law and our republic. Since the initiation of these baseless and biased trials, the American people have recognized them for what they truly are—shameless attempts to dismantle a political adversary for his unwavering commitment to our country. The Left's actions throughout this trial, along with those stalled in the courts, have only served to galvanize support for President Trump. As we enter the final five months of the Presidential campaign, we know this won't be the Left's last effort to bring down President Trump. They know that they cannot defeat him at the ballot box, so they will resort to any means necessary, lawful, or otherwise, to prevent him from taking the Oath of Office. Make no mistake, their lawfare will backfire. No matter what dastardly deed they come up with, President Donald J. Trump will return to the White House. NEWS & RELEASES . - CPAC CALLS FOR FULL PRESIDENTIAL PROTECTIVE DETAIL FOR PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP AND FOR THE RESIGNATION OF ACTING SECRET SERVICE DIRECTOR RONALD ROWE:
CPAC CALLS FOR FULL PRESIDENTIAL PROTECTIVE DETAIL FOR PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP AND FOR THE RESIGNATION OF ACTING SECRET SERVICE DIRECTOR RONALD ROWE: CPAC CALLS FOR FULL PRESIDENTIAL PROTECTIVE DETAIL FOR PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP AND FOR THE RESIGNATION OF ACTING SECRET SERVICE DIRECTOR RONALD ROWE: It is unconscionable for the Biden-Harris administration and Acting U.S. Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe to continue to deny President Donald J. Trump a full protective detail. Since the catastrophic security failures during the failed assassination attempt on President Trump’s life on July 13th, the American people have not been provided with clear answers or accountability from Acting U.S. Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe. Yesterday, America was once again moments away from tragedy as another would-be assassin was able to get into position with a rifle at a distance capable of making an attempt on President Trump’s life. The American people deserve to know why the Biden-Harris administration and Acting U.S. Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe continue to put the life of President Trump at risk by failing to provide him the same security levels afforded to President Joe Biden. - CPAC Statement on Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill
CPAC Statement on Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill CPAC Statement on Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp released the following statement after the Florida legislature passed the Parental Rights in Education bill: “Parents must have a voice in their children’s education. That became crystal clear in the Virginia gubernatorial race when mothers and fathers rose up against the socialist left that tried to kick parents out of education decisions. “This week Florida lawmakers listened to that message by ensuring that school bureaucracies could not indoctrinate young students with their liberal talking points. The Parental Rights in Education bill ensures that parents, rather than government employees, have the lead in educating children from kindergarten through third grade about sexual orientation and gender identity. These conversations, with children at such a young age, should be handled by parents at home instead of by non-family members with their own personal opinions. “For years, the socialist democrats have been pushing hard to indoctrinate children with Critical Race Theory. Now they want to push their ultra-radical misinformed policies of sex and gender on children during their most vulnerable and influential period of their lives. “The Florida legislature has stepped up to protect students. Instead of being force fed the left’s points on gender and sex, young students in Florida can focus on learning how to read and write.” Download PDF version here ### NEWS & RELEASES . - CPAC Supports Vote to Dismiss Impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton
CPAC Supports Vote to Dismiss Impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton CPAC Supports Vote to Dismiss Impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton Much like the political prosecution currently happening in jurisdictions around the country of President Donald J. Trump, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is facing a similar battle, but this time originating from his own party. The charges put forth by leadership in the Texas legislature were adjudicated last election cycle. Millions of dollars in television, mail, and digital ads hit Attorney General Paxton for months in both the primary and general election. In the end, Attorney General Paxton came out victorious. The people of Texas, the real jurors in the case, decided that the leadership Attorney General Paxton has shown since being elected was worth another term in office. Attorney General Ken Paxton has been one of the strongest fighters against President Biden’s far left administration’s overreach. He also has won cases at the Supreme Court defending both Life and our southern border. Sadly, a small group of legislators are wielding their power to undo an election where the people of Texas made their voices heard and chose to keep Ken Paxton as their Attorney General. This is a misuse of power entrusted to our elected officials and should not stand. The Conservative Political Action Coalition (CPAC) stands with Attorney General Ken Paxton. We will recommend to our sister organization, the CPAC Foundation’s Center to Legislative Accountability (Ratings), that a vote to dismiss this impeachment to be scored positively. # # # Contact: comms@conservative.org (202) 347-9388 NEWS & RELEASES . His candidacy makes all of us at ACU optimistic that California can get back on a conservative path.” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. “California must work to elect more conservatives and that starts with sending Mike Garcia to Congress and it’s why ACU is proud to endorse him for California’s 25th Congressional District.
