Recently though, conservative and religious Americans have become deeply troubled by your partnership with an individual who practices satanism, along with your apparent embrace of radical gender ideology, which seeks to sterilize and brutalize the bodies of the youth. It is disturbing to the many families of shoppers from religious backgrounds that Target Corporation partnered with Erik Carnell, a self-declared “satanist” to design the new “Pride Month” collection of items. Carnell openly flaunts his anti-Christian agenda posting that “Satan respects pronouns,” selling items with phrases like, “Trans Witches for Abortion,” and participating in a “satanic flea market” in London called an “anti Christmas fayre.” Someone like this should never be promoted by a company which purports to support families, especially not to create items geared toward children. For example, it has now been widely reported that your stores are targeting young children with more than 2,000 products including “tuck friendly” swimsuits, chest binders, music, home furnishings, and products geared toward kids between the ages of 2-8 with phrases like “gender fluid,” “queer all year,” “Bye Bye, Binary,” “Pride 1,2,3” and “I’m not a girl.” Not only is such content inappropriate for children in those age groups, but it also seeks to confuse and tacitly endorse a pathway to gruesome irreversible procedures like vaginoplasty, metoidioplasty, and masculinizing chest surgery. These are procedures where healthy functioning body parts are distorted and destroyed to perpetuate false and radical reflections of human biology. Also troubling is your organization’s promotion of abortion by paying to facilitate out-of-state abortions for your employees. Target’s anti-life policy thereby enlists unknowing customers to subsidize a practice which they morally oppose. Surely as board members with a fiduciary responsibility to your shareholders, you must understand that Target’s embrace of satanism and radical gender ideology is alienating millions of your customers who will take their business elsewhere. In the past, Target has relied on center-right and conservative organizations to further policies that benefited Target, its shareholders, and its customers. And when anti-capitalist politicians and activists attacked the company for its success and profitability, we stepped up to defend Target. Progress on the long-stalled Keystone XL pipeline—a project which will bring oil from Canada to the Gulf Coast of Texas—has finally resumed. On August 4, Calgary-based TC Energy signed agreements with four labor unions to start building the Alberta-to-Nebraska section. The project will reportedly create 42,000 U.S. jobs, 10,000 of which are in high-paying construction. According to Keystone XL, the project will inject $3.4 billion into the U.S. GDP and boost Montana, South Dakota, and Nebraska’s local economies by $55 million in the first year of operation. On top of the boon for US jobs and GDP, the project will create a “multi-million dollar training program for [the] renewable energy sector” via establishing a unique “Green Jobs Training Program” for its union member workers. This should tick any decent politician’s boxes for a great project. Good for jobs Good for the economy Good for the environment But Joe Biden isn’t just any politician. Though he doesn’t call it the “Green New Deal,” Joe Biden’s policies mimic it. In a Joe Biden administration, there would be no Keystone XL pipeline, nor the jobs that go with it. In May, his campaign policy director promised that Biden would “ stop it for good by rescinding the Keystone XL pipeline permit .” Joe Biden talks a good game when it comes to creating millions of fictional energy jobs. Their country, once a prosperous jewel of the hemisphere, was destroyed by illegitimately elected leaders’ poisonous commitment to communism and hostility toward America. Maduro was NOT the legitimate leader of Venezuela, was given ample opportunity to relinquish control of his nation, and was indicted by a US court in a lawful process. Maduro, who illegitimately claimed to be the leader of Venezuela, was indicted in a lawful process before a United States Federal Court. The socialist dictator has been charged with conspiring to traffic illegal drugs into our country and using his power as the leader of a drug cartel in Venezuela to pose an ongoing threat to the United States. Thanks to the decisive actions of President Trump a bright future is possible. America has to walk a careful line when confronting murderous dictators. She should always stand for human rights, but we also cannot intervene without patient examination of the equities involved.
