Breitbart: CPAC Blasts YouTube Censorship, Will Push for Tech Regulation CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp’s letter sent to Sundar Pichai, CEO of YouTube’s parent company Alphabet In a letter to the CEO of Google obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp promised to use the organization’s clout in the conservative movement to push for new regulation and legislation to tackle Google’s censorship. YouTube has been aggressively censoring channels that host content featuring President Trump. Last week, it censored a viral interview with Trump on The Nelk Boys’ Full Send podcast. The interview had accumulated over 5 million views in the 24 hours prior to its removal. YouTube also suspended the account of the Hill , an establishment media outlet covering politics, because it hosted clips of Trump’s CPAC speech. Read more on Breitbart News NEWS & RELEASES . CPAC Releases New Hampshire Legislative Scorecard, Revealing the Plight of Razor-Thin Majorities. ALEXANDRIA, VA (March 11, 2024) — CPAC Foundation’s analysis reveals that New Hampshire’s Republican legislators largely voted consistently in line with the conservative position throughout the year. Despite their efforts, however, few conservative bills were passed because of near-gridlock in the House. SEE SCORECARD HERE “Somehow, New Hampshire, with its ideologically divided 400-person House of Representatives, has found itself in this unenviable position with predictable results,” said CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp. “New Hampshire voters need to send more conservatives to the legislature in order for the next Republican Governor to succeed.” CPAC recognizes several New Hampshire state legislators for their conservative voting records. Many members of the New Hampshire State Legislature earned CPAC’s Award for Conservative Excellence for voting with the conservative position at least 90% of the time during the 2023 session. Their names are highlighted in gold on the scorecard. Additionally, some lawmakers in the New Hampshire State Legislature earned CPAC’s Award for Conservative Achievement for voting with the conservative position at least 80% of the time during the 2023 session. Their names are highlighted in silver on the scorecard. The bills featured in CPAC’s 2023 Ratings of New Hampshire address parental rights in education, Second Amendment freedoms, and abortion. These issues, coupled with our mission to protect life, liberty, property and uphold the American family, created the basis by which the CPAC Foundation rated the New Hampshire legislature. The Center for Legislative Accountability (CLA), an initiative of the CPAC Foundation, is the premier organization for holding lawmakers accountable. The CLA produces the longest-running conservative congressional scorecard and our state program is the only one in the nation that scores all 8,000 lawmakers in the 50 states across every policy area. - Soaking the middle class
Soaking the middle class News & Releases Explore the latest updates, news, and product releases to stay informed and ahead of the curve. Soaking the middle class Joe Biden has told some whoppers in his lifetime, but his promise to limit tax increases to the rich is among the most laughable. Biden’s record on this issue is clear—he has stuck it to the middle class at every available opportunity. Given his promise of lavish, massive, European-style expenditures if elected, there is no doubt that the middle class will be forced to foot a large portion of the bill. Biden’s promises to the contrary just don’t add up. Consider Biden’s vow to repeal President Trump’s historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 . With one fell swoop, Biden would rob the middle class of: Doubled individual deductions Increased child care exemptions 20% QBI deduction for small businesses Soaking the middle class is par for the course for Joe Biden. Back in 1981, Congress wisely voted to tie Americans’ taxes to inflation by indexing. Indexing prevents “bracket creep” that kicks you into a higher tax bracket without a real increase in income. In other words, indexing protects American tax payers from paying more in taxes than they should. Since 1981, we’ve had 35 years of inflation. Imagine the financial fallout for taxpayers without tax indexing. The figures would be jaw-dropping. Now guess who voted against tax indexing during the Reagan years? If you guessed Joe-Tax-‘Em-‘Till-They-Bleed-Biden, give yourself a gold star. If Joe Biden had his way, middle-class Americans would be paying the same tax rates that billionaires do. Don’t be fooled. When Joe Biden says he’ll protect the middle class from astronomical taxes, look him straight in the eye and say, “your vote on tax indexing says otherwise.” NEWS & RELEASES . - Chairman Matt Schlapp and Eduardo Verastegui: Answering The Call To Fight Socialism In Latin America
Chairman Matt Schlapp and Eduardo Verastegui: Answering The Call To Fight Socialism In Latin America News & Releases Explore the latest updates, news, and product releases to stay informed and ahead of the curve. Chairman Matt Schlapp and Eduardo Verastegui: Answering The Call To Fight Socialism In Latin America The destructive fire of socialism is quickly spreading throughout Latin America. While autocratic regimes in Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela continue to repress their people, violating and denying their most basic human rights, new radical socialist governments have taken over in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru. And just a couple of weeks ago, the corrupt Leftist former president of Brazil, Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, won the general election in that country to return to office for a third term in January of next year. These new socialist regimes represent a serious threat to democracy and fundamental freedoms in the entire region. And that’s why this year, CPAC and the Viva Mexico Foundation are calling on conservatives from all over Latin America to join us in a regional movement to fight the radical Left, which will launch with CPAC Mexico on November 18 and 19. The new socialist governments are committed to advancing their agenda through cultural Marxism: fostering social confrontation based on race, religion, gender, and economic differences. Their goal is to destroy the Judeo-Christian civilization of Latin America, imposing a new order that seeks to redefine the individual by undermining the individual, family, government, and religious institutions that are essential to preserving a stable and free society. Mercedes Schlapp in Fox News: Jill Biden’s ‘breakfast tacos’ remark was not a gaffe News & Releases Explore the latest updates, news, and product releases to stay informed and ahead of the curve. Mercedes Schlapp in Fox News: Jill Biden’s ‘breakfast tacos’ remark was not a gaffe In a new column for FoxNews.com , CPAC Foundation Senior Fellow Mercedes Schlapp talks about First lady Jill Biden’s comments at her Texas speech and how they were disrespectful and insulting to Hispanics. First lady Jill Biden traveled to one of the most populous Hispanic communities in America on Monday to tell Latinos that all we are good for is our breakfast tacos and bodegas. Mrs. Biden’s inflammatory and offensive rhetoric about Hispanic diversity in San Antonio, Texas was not a gaffe. It is another example of the Biden administration’s insensitive, bullying and politically divisive attacks on minorities in America. The White House rigorously reviews and scrutinizes all public remarks prepared for the president and first lady. Yet Biden’s protectors in the leftwing media say that the words Jill read from a Teleprompter “didn’t come out correctly.” Read more on FoxNews.com NEWS & RELEASES .
