The latest attack from Google-owned YouTube was first reported by The Daily Wire : Footage from the American Conservative Union’s recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event in Texas was removed from YouTube last week, according to the conservative group. The conservative conference told The Daily Wire that YouTube pulled the video for “misinformation” and gave CPAC a “strike” on September 23 — a sanction prohibiting CPAC from posting for one week, with two more strikes leading to the account’s removal. The CPAC event in Dallas, Texas, which took place from August 4 to 7, featured high-profile conservatives such as former President Donald Trump, Fox News host Sean Hannity, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Rep. New Analysis – More Conservatives in Illinois Legislature CPAC Awards 23 Lawmakers for Fighting Progressive Policies ALEXANDRIA, VA (June 23, 2022) — CPAC has awarded 23 state lawmakers for upholding conservative principles in their voting, determined through a new analysis conducted by the Center for Legislative Accountability (CLA), a project of CPAC Foundation and the American Conservative Union Foundation. The 23 awardees represent a significant increase in conservative voting compared to the previous session where only 14 lawmakers received awards for voting in line with the conservative position. The conservative voting by House Republicans also helped raise the state’s overall conservative ratings to 37% (from 31% in 2020), but Illinois still significantly trails the national average rating of 49%. The conservative rating is calculated through CPAC’s scorecards and is based on lawmaker voting across 186 policy areas ranging from cultural and life issues to tax, fiscal and regulatory policies.
