CPAC Releases Arkansas Legislative Scorecard, Revealing a State Overflowing with Strong Conservative Policy. ALEXANDRIA, VA (January 23, 2024) — CPAC Foundation’s latest analysis reveals that Democrat legislators in Maine averaged scores of about 1%. This low rating represents the culmination of a number of extremely progressive policies, including a bills that incentivize illegal immigration, diminish parental rights, and potentially transform the government into a weapon against conservatives itself through lawfare. SEE SCORECARD HERE “Maine voters should be asking themselves, ‘When will this extremism be enough?’” said CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp. “Maine’s Democrat legislators passed laws that allow minors to receive radical gender care without parental consent, gave health care to illegal immigrants, and that prevents employers from monitoring their own workplace.” Maine has many legislators recognized by CPAC for their conservative voting records based on a just-released analysis from CPAC Foundation’s Center for Legislative Accountability. The following members of the Maine State Legislature earned CPAC’s Award for Conservative Excellence for voting with the conservative position at least 90% of the time during the 2023 session Senate: Bradlee Farrin (100%) Stacey Guerin (100%) Matthew Harrington (100%) Peter Lyford (100%) Jeffrey Timberlake (100%) Marianne Moore (95%) Harold Stewart (95%) House: Barbara Bagshaw (100%) Larry Dunphy (100%) Steven Foster (100%) Ann Marie Fredericks (100%) Irene Gifford (100%) Thomas Lavigne (100%) Laurel Libby (100%) Sheila Lyman (100%) Richard Mason (100%) Reagan Paul (100%) Kimberly Pomerleau (100%) Tracy Quint (100%) Heidi Sampson (100%) Tammy Schmersal-Burgess (100%) Michael Soboleski (100%) Gregory Swallow (100%) Joseph Underwood (100%) David Woodsome (100%) Rachel Ann Henderson (95%) Donald Ardell (95%) Scott Cyrway (95%) Kenneth Davis (95%) Abigail Griffin (95%) Joshua Morris (95%) Chad Perkins (95%) Ed Polewarczyk (95%) James Lee White (95%) Richard Campbell (94%) Caleb Ness (94%) Danny Costain (94%) Gary Drinkwater (94%) David Haggan (94%) Benjamin Hymes (94%) Katrina Smith (94%) Daniel Newman (94%) Additionally, a few lawmakers in the Maine State Legislature earned CPAC’s Award for Conservative Achievement for voting with the conservative position at least 80% of the time during the 2023 session. The bills featured in CPAC’s 2023 Ratings of Maine expanded handouts for electric vehicles, increased workplace mandates, and increased welfare spending. These issues, coupled with our mission to protect life, liberty, property and upholding the American family, created the basis by which the CPAC Foundation rated the Maine legislature. The Center for Legislative Accountability (CLA), an initiative of the CPAC Foundation, is the premier organization for holding lawmakers accountable. The CLA produces the longest-running conservative congressional scorecard and our state program is the only one in the nation that scores all 8,000 lawmakers in the 50 states across every policy area. CPAC Releases Wyoming Legislative Scorecard – Exposing ‘Do-Nothing Republicans’ ALEXANDRIA, VA (May 31, 2023) — CPAC Foundation’s analysis reveals the Wyoming Senate and House voted less conservatively during the 2022 session compared to the previous session. Republicans in the House, for instance, voted with the conservative position an average of 59% of the time, compared to 72% last year. SEE THE SCORECARD HERE “Wyoming has one of the largest supermajority Republican legislatures in the Country, but fails to deliver on conservative policies,” said CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp. “When it came to issues like closing the primaries to prevent Democrats from picking Republican nominees, banning racist indoctrination in the classroom, and providing parents the ability to pick the best educational opportunities for their kids, Wyoming Republicans failed to deliver.” Several Wyoming state legislators are recognized by CPAC for their conservative voting records based on the just-released analysis from CPAC Foundation’s Center for Legislative Accountability. The following members of the Wyoming State Legislature earned CPAC’s Award for Conservative Excellence for voting with the conservative position at least 90% of the time: Senate: Bo Biteman (94%) John Kolb (94%) Lynn Hutchings (93%) House: Chuck Gray (100%) Rachel Rodriguez-Williams (100%) Jeremy Haroldson (94%) Mark Jennings (94%) Pepper Ottman (94%) Clarence Styvar (94%) The following members of the Wyoming State Legislature earned CPAC’s Award for Conservative Achievement for voting with the conservative position at least 80% of the time: Senate: Anthony Bouchard (88%) Troy McKeown (88%) Dan Dockstader (88%) Tim French (88%) Tom James (88%) Tim Salazar (88%) Cheri Steinmetz (88%) House: John Bear (88%) Christopher Knapp (88%) Chip Neiman (88%) John Winter (88%) Bill Fortner (82%) Jim Blackburn (82%) Mark Baker (81%) Among the votes scored in CPAC’s 2022 Ratings of Wyoming were bills that addressed life, protections against men competing in women’s sports, Second Amendment rights, school curriculum transparency, election integrity, tax cuts, and school choice. In 2022, Republicans held a supermajority in the Wyoming State Legislature. This gave them the opportunity to pass key legislation expanding school choice, protecting women’s sports, and defending life. These issues, coupled with conservative policies such as lowering taxes, protecting the Second Amendment, and upholding the American family, created the basis by which CPAC Foundation rated Wyoming legislators. CPAC Statement Against Omnibus News & Releases Explore the latest updates, news, and product releases to stay informed and ahead of the curve. CPAC Statement Against Omnibus Alexandria, VA — CPAC released a statement against omnibus spending bill. “It makes absolutely no sense for big spending Republican members of the Senate GOP to give President Biden and the radical Left an early Christmas present by passing their inflationary 4,155-page $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill. Voters spoke up by electing a House majority to fight against diabolical inflation and the billions in wasteful spending of taxpayer dollars.“Now certain members of the Senate GOP are betraying their voting base by stuffing their stocking with pork barrel spending. The GOP should instead use this as an opportunity to reform an FBI that continues to suppress free speech, target political enemies, and label parents as domestic terrorists; reform an overpowered IRS which has been empowered to harass conservatives and religious groups; prevent a repeal of Title 42 which DHS estimates would double the illegal border crossing in the midst of a crisis.“CPAC strongly opposes the omnibus spending bill and will recommend to our sister organization, CPAC Foundation, scoring a vote in favor negatively in CPAC Foundation’s 2022 Ratings of Congress.” ### NEWS & RELEASES . • Matt Schlapp on FoxNews: “The Biden gig is up”

Matt Schlapp on FoxNews: “The Biden gig is up” News & Releases Explore the latest updates, news, and product releases to stay informed and ahead of the curve. Matt Schlapp on FoxNews: “The Biden gig is up” CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp penned a new op-ed for FoxNews.com that lays out the difficult road ahead for Joe Biden as his approval ratings continue to sink and his policies continue to stink. As Joe Biden ’s presidential approval numbers continue to slip, it is reasonable to ask at what point is the Biden administration politically unsalvageable. The clear evidence is that the Biden policies are not working well for most, including for Biden voters. A trend of buyer’s remorse is developing among young, independent, women (you don’t have to be a biologist to read poll numbers either), and minority voters. Tellingly, Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign pollster, John Anzalone, is lowering expectations ahead of the bloodbath by saying it is “the worst political environment” he’s seen in three decades. Democrats on the Hill have doubled down on the most radically left policy agenda including cheerleading the end of American energy independence, inflation-inducing runaway government spending and a cornucopia of perverse woke cultural oddities. Even if a voter likes the new lefty policies, the overall numbers are sobering. Read more on Foxnews.com or see more of Matt’s op-eds here . NEWS & RELEASES . • Abandoning friends; Emboldening enemies

Abandoning friends; Emboldening enemies News & Releases Explore the latest updates, news, and product releases to stay informed and ahead of the curve. Abandoning friends; Emboldening enemies This week, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing on the United States’ policy in Venezuela. They discussed the heavy sanctions levied against Nicolás Maduro’s illegitimate socialist regime. Once the richest country in South America, a thriving democracy with the world’s largest crude oil reserves, Venezuela’s people are now literally starving to death. If America were to re-apply the policies of the Obama-Biden administration today, Maduro’s disastrous regime, propped up by Cuba, Russia, and Iran, would continue indefinitely. In 1982, Biden voted in opposition to the reaffirmation of the Monroe Doctrine. So unpopular was this stance, that he was joined by only 27 other lawmakers, and it’s easy to understand why. It broadcasts American vulnerability, not strength. The Monroe Doctrine warns against foreign interference in the Western Hemisphere. President John F. Kennedy invoked the Monroe Doctrine during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. At that time, the Soviet Union had installed ballistic missile facilities on the tiny island nation less than 100 miles from Florida. JFK’s Monroe Doctrine-based response prevented escalation into full-scale nuclear war. Fast-forward to 2013. “The era of the Monroe Doctrine is over,” said John Kerry, then serving as the Obama-Biden administration’s Secretary of State. Undoubtedly, Joe Biden concurs. Meanwhile, in 2020, Russia and China fiercely protect their respective spheres of influence. The prospect of a Biden presidency in which America returns to renouncing the Monroe Doctrine must fill our adversaries with delight. NEWS & RELEASES .
