Check out the press release below with more details and please take action ! It only takes three minutes to let your legislators know that their score from the CPAC Foundation is important to you, and you expect them to support more conservative policies. New Jersey Trending More Liberal – New 50 State Analysis State Ranked 7th Most Progressive Legislature in America ALEXANDRIA, VA (November 3, 2022) — The voting of New Jersey’s state lawmakers is trending much more liberal according to a new analysis conducted by the Center for Legislative Accountability (CLA), a project of CPAC Foundation and the American Conservative Union Foundation. In the CLA’s analysis of all 7,400 state lawmakers in America, the New Jersey legislature earned a conservative rating of 27%, a significant drop from the state’s 2020 score of 33%. This rating places New Jersey as the 7th most progressive legislature in the nation, and merely a single percentage point away from Maryland, Vermont and New York which are ranked 4th through 6th most progressive due to their conservative ratings of 26%. Massachusetts is the most progressive legislature with a conservative rating of just 15%, and Alabama the most conservative at 74%. The conservative rating is calculated through an analysis of the votes cast by lawmakers across 186 policy areas ranging from cultural and life issues to tax, fiscal, and regulatory policies. Each year the CLA tallies over 320,000 votes to generate the scores. Only 6 New Jersey lawmakers received awards this year from CPAC for voting with the conservative position at least 80% of the time. Conversely, a record 71 lawmakers earned CPAC’s Coalition of the Radical Left Award for conservative ratings below 10%. NEW JERSEY SCORECARD (Web Version) NEW JERSEY SCORECARD (PDF Version) The ratings have also been incorporated into CPAC’s new Lawmaker Comparison Tool which runs head-to-head comparisons on lawmaker’s strongest and weakest policy areas. The CLA is the first and only organization to annually publish individual ratings for all 8,000 federal and state lawmakers in America. The CLA is also home to the nation’s most comprehensive conservative policy database containing over 19,000 detailed bill analyses which span 50 years of Congress and all 50 state legislatures. CPAC on USA Today: “The first step to earn our support is a new shared strategy to reprimand corporations that have gone woke.” In September, the American Conservative Union sent a “woke congressional leadership pledge” to GOP lawmakers seeking endorsements for leadership posts. “The first step to earn our support is a new shared strategy to reprimand corporations that have gone woke ,” the letter read. The organization that puts on the annual Republican gathering, the Conservative Political Action Conference , called on lawmakers to punish corporations with “radical left policies” such as paying travel costs for employee abortions , supporting the Black Lives Matter movement or promoting “radical gender theory and gender modification onto our children.” “With new, conservative majorities, these same corporate woke elitists will be back on Capitol Hill, trying to cozy back up to conservatives,” it warned. “CPAC calls on you to take a stand and not allow this to happen without a renunciation of woke policies. ”The GOP, once the party of big business, has unfriended it. In recent months, Republicans have intensified their pressure campaign to stop corporate America from taking liberal stands, with punitive measures ranging from boycotts to legislation to shareholder fights. Now that Republicans have regained control of the House, key conservative figures are threatening political consequences. Read more on USAToday.com NEWS & RELEASES . BANNED! YouTube Removes CPAC Texas video featuring President Trump and other conservative leaders News & Releases Explore the latest updates, news, and product releases to stay informed and ahead of the curve. BANNED! YouTube Removes CPAC Texas video featuring President Trump and other conservative leaders Once again, YouTube has tried to silence conservatives and unilaterally removed an entire day of content from CPAC Texas from their platform without warning. The latest attack from Google-owned YouTube was first reported by The Daily Wire : Footage from the American Conservative Union’s recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event in Texas was removed from YouTube last week, according to the conservative group. The conservative conference told The Daily Wire that YouTube pulled the video for “misinformation” and gave CPAC a “strike” on September 23 — a sanction prohibiting CPAC from posting for one week, with two more strikes leading to the account’s removal. The CPAC event in Dallas, Texas, which took place from August 4 to 7, featured high-profile conservatives such as former President Donald Trump, Fox News host Sean Hannity, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH). “The removal of CPAC Texas is yet another example of YouTube censoring conservative voices,” CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp told The Daily Wire. “This cannot continue. The Silicon Valley monopolies abuse their control over the flow of information to prop up the Democrat Party. It’s time we rein in Big Tech.” Read on DailyWire.com . Even though YouTube opposes free speech, you can still watch President Trump’s speech from CPAC Texas here . Help stop Big Tech — support CPAC today ! Hold Big Tech accountable. Sign our petition!
