For example, it creates safeguards preventing money from out of the state from funding efforts to bring particular petitions to bear. CPAC supports efforts to help this process better reflect the will of Missourians and supported this resolution. The Senate refused to concur with this resolution on May 13, 2024 by a vote of 18-13 and the resolution made no further progress by the end of the session. This vote has been double-rated because of both its importance and the part that the Senate took in crushing this resolution.
