As a person, he was remarkably intelligent and personable. He accepted and considered many and diverse opinions. He was known for his charisma, humor, and calm and relaxing presence. Even young people were drawn to his magnanimous personality. World leaders alike, such as President Trump and Vladimir Putin, admired Prime Minister Abe. The assassination of the former prime minister brought great sorrow to those who knew him, but it awakened the current prime minister and prompted him to take a stronger position on national security and foreign policy.
