Actor and filmmaker Dean Cain joined Mercedes Schlapp on America Uncanceled for a discussion of the L.A. wildfires and President Trump’s first week in office.

“I’m celebrating every. Single. Day. I’m ready for the golden era of America!”, said Cain of the days following Trump’s inauguration.

Cain was originally planned to be the host for the inauguration parade before the parade was canceled due to cold weather. Still, Cain observed an “overwhelming” enthusiasm from Americans and a strength and determination to get to work from President Trump.

“I really felt this incredible sense of excitement and everybody was, I mean obviously in a celebratory mood, but there was thousands and thousands and thousands of people there, all those balls, like 29 balls with 10-20,000 people in them. Just so many people were there and so positive, and it was welcoming and it was excited,” said Cain.

As a conservative, Cain is a rarity Hollywood. He went on to share with Schlapp his conversion story to conservatism that was inspired by his belief in meritocracy. Watch his full conversation that also covered the devastating L.A. wildfires on CPAC+.
