It’s been 100 days since President Trump took office for the second time. His campaign and election victory were historic and his first 100 days in office have exceeded expectations. Matt and Mercedes Schlapp weigh in on the major developments.
The Laken Riley Act is one of Trump’s major accomplishments in his first few months in office. The act is named after college student Laken Riley who was brutally murdered by an illegal alien.
“The whole objective of BLM was make us be silent about crimes committed by people of color or illegals and what we’ve come to realize over time is that that was a tactic as they moved millions of people in through the southern border, many of them were gang members or criminals,” said Matt Schlapp. “It was all done purposefully to get us to be quiet about saying anything. Finally, we can highlight no matter what color skin people are, if you let millions of people in who we haven’t vetted who are literally fleeing their countries, you’re going to have madness inside your own country.”
President Trump’s other accomplishments include bringing Israel closer to securing peace, securing the border, and cutting back on federal spending. Watch the Schlapps’ full take on all these issues on social media @CPAC.
