    Ratings Lawmakers Search Bill Search Congress States Archives Home Sb 367 (HB 483) Preventing Localities from Instituting a Gas Stove Ban. 2023 - Tennessee House of Representatives Vote Description This bill prohibits localities from adopting ordinances or regulations that, as a result of the type of energy an appliance uses, prohibit the use of a particular appliance. CPAC supports all forms of energy, does not believe that the government should support one form of energy over another, opposes gas stove bans, and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 2, 2023 by a vote of 81-14 and the bill later became law.
