This amendment prohibits public libraries from using funds appropriated to them by the government to hand out harmful materials to minors. CPAC supports efforts to protect minors from pornographic and obscene material and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on April 10, 2024 by a vote of 5- 35.
