This amendment requires the commissiorner of environmental conservation to annually submit a report to the legislature detailing the number of permits it adjudicated during the preceding year for and the costs of its 404 program. CPAC supports efforts to increase the accountability of government bureaucrats to legislators and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on May 15, 2023 by a vote of 9-11.
