This amendment cuts the funding of Public Radio Broadcasting by a significant amount. CPAC opposes the public funding of radio, supports measures that cut down on the funding of such entities, and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on May 15, 2023 by a vote of 3-16.
