Vote Description
This bill prohibits the state from ordering the seizure of firearms or forbidding the possession of firearms during emergencies. CPAC believes that emergencies do not magically annul the rights of the people, supports efforts to ensure that emergencies are not abused by the government, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 16, 2023 by a vote of 17-3 and the bill later became law.
