This bill repeals all future sunset dates on the Renewable Energy Fund. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 28, 2023 by a vote of 18-0 and the bill later became law.
