Vote Description
This bill prohibits individuals from distributing or collecting absentee ballots and their associated applications. CPAC recognizes that ballot harvesting is a gateway to election fraud, supports efforts to restrict and prohibit its practice, and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on May 4, 2023 by a vote of 75-27 but the bill stalled in the Senate.
