Vote Description
This bill sets up scholarship education accounts for certain disadvantaged students such that their parents may enroll them in an educational program that best suits their needs. While CPAC would prefer to see a more expansive school choice bill from the legislature, it still supports school choice and supported this bill as a step in the right direction. The House passed this bill on May 11, 2023 by a vote of 97-5 but the bill stalled in the Senate.
