This bill requires that electronic voter machines use paper ballots as a part of the process of tabulating votes. CPAC supports efforts to improve election integrity, supports efforts that make it easier to conduct audits of elections, and supported this bill. The House passed the initial version of this bill on May 2, 2023 by a vote of 77-26 and the bill later became law.
