This bill establishes the Alabama Workforce Housing Tax Credit, the likes of which will be apportioned for select housing projects. CPAC believes that the government should refrain from interfering in the housing market and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 18, 2024 by a vote of 103-0 and the bill later became law.
